Our members had very informative and constructive lessons with Ernest today at Castle Farm. He set up a very interesting set of jumps which challenged the riders and their horses. He was keen on getting a good canter before setting off over the jumps and having the horse truly in front of the leg. Riders were also encouraged to leave the seeing the stride to the horse and to concentrate on the rhythm and balance of the horse not getting ahead of the horse when jumping. Well done all those who took park, he was very impressed with the quality of the riders and horses.
