Winter Dressage Report

We had a good turnout for this competition with two senior teams and one junior team.  The juniors got started very early as Nathan was the first to go and then he had to rush off back to school as it was Open Day but he and Corker performed a good test with a couple of errors as did Chris Bond.  Jessie however put in a fantastic performance to win the whole section and the team finished in 4th place.

Our senior teams were missing Natalie who had had a nasty knock to the head earlier in the week so couldn’t ride but the remaining members of Sandie, Kerry, Alex and Hollie and Helene Abi and Gaynor rode some fantastic tests resulting in the first group qualifying for the Championship Finals at Hartpury next year.

We also had five members including April in the RWHS qualifiers but despite some good tests they were not placed high enough to qualify.

We had a great day despite being challenged by the M11 being shut at the Harlow junction, a couple of flu certificates being forgotten and car trouble too.  However we all pulled together and produced our first team to go to the winter championships.

Well done to all who took part.
